I have search Internet for one and half day to verify I can re-work under Linux.
What Ubuntu V8.0.4 can provide exceeds my expection. It’s wonderful!
Except StarDict’s Dictionary data files were copied from my CD-R(recorded in 2006), all software download from Internet or used updating.
To work under Linux, there are some important things to do, such as
1. Wireless configuration
2. Chinese input
3. Chinese Fonts: True type
4. Windows XP co-work, data share(two situations: NTFS partitions, and VMware virtual machine)
5. CISCO VPN
Also, there are answers in the Internet.
I will write all of above detail configuration of my Ubuntu 8.0.4 on DELL Latitude D420 in other posts. Please wait.
